Cassava Tart

An Amazing crunchy crust you will enjoy a few different ways.

Cassava Tart

Ingredients:

1 ¼ cup cassava flour

2 tbsp earh balance

½ cup cold water

Salt and garlic powder to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425. In a bowl place all ingredients, use a fork to break apart so that the dough forms into pieces incorporating well. Seal in saran wrap and place in fridge for a half hour. Remove from the fridge, lay on a parchment paper, place another parchment on top and roll it out flat. Bake for 14 minutes.

Tips-

Roll it out flat to create crackers, score it and bake (add different spices as you prefer).

Roll out into round shape to create a crispy pizza dough.

Use it as a crust for a shepherds pie.

Replace earth balance with coconut oil, replace spices with 3 tbsp coconut sugar, fill it with berries and bake as a galette.
